Penalty shootout took LUKOIL to the champion position

Lukoil and Montenegro football teams started the finals with a defensive-style game, calmly waiting to take advantage of other team's mistake and to use a counter attack tactics to reach the opponent's goal. However, both teams went through the match pretty cautiously, taking care not to let the other party score a goal, so the goal nets remained undisturbed. The first half of the match ended with a score of 0-0. The second half of the match was more or less the same as the first one. The players were too cautious and they did not manage to get a realistic chance of scoring, as if the both teams had made an arrangement to go through the match quietly and wait for penalty shootout to decide who the winner would be. Finally, they ended up getting the penalty kicks. At the end, it turned out that LUKOIL's team managed to stay cool-headed, earning the victory they desired.
